Group Text: What's Your Nighttime Routine?
The Holiday season has officially begun which also means that the longer, darker days of the winter season have us leaving work in a depleted daze, with the energy to do absolutely nothing laborious when we return home (besides maybe sprawl flat on the couch and reach for the remote). Anyone else feeling this?!
We recently started asking some of our favorite power women about the nighttime rituals they use to unwind from the day's stresses to prepare for a rejuvenating REM, and it got us thinking about our own nighttime rituals + routines (or shall we say lack there of....).
Cue the Palo Santo.
But seriously, it made us realize that making it a priority to arrive home to a quiet and sacred space and that the 'coming down' time from work-life to home-life was and should be a requirement for all.
Instead of turning on the tv when we put our computer bags down, we've replaced it with putting on some mood mellowing music, lighting some candles and yes, the palo santo, maybe running a bubble bath, doing something indulgent for the first hour you arrive home to just, chill out.
