My go-to is a potted succulent in a pretty planter!

That’s brilliant! Morning after gifts…tell your mom that I’m stealing that idea now too.

My mom taught me growing up to always, always, ALWAYS bring a handwritten ‘thank you’ card to hosts/hostesses. Handwritten cards are so rare these days and really make an impact.

The actual gift can depend on the person, but a special or unique ornament is always nice if it’s before Christmas. I also love the idea of giving them something they can enjoy the next morning after a long night of hosting (a.k.a COFFEE if they are caffeine lovers), tea, arranging breakfast, etc.

I used to give wine, but now I’m really into bringing over a little house plant

I make Ina Garten’s rosemary roasted cashews with brown sugar + cayenne. They are ALWAYS a hit!
