What We're Obsessing Over This Week
Some of our current obsessions of the week, designed to nourish each pillar of your life.
MANTRA OF THE WEEK ~
PRODUCT LUST ~
It's no surprise that we love, love, love Earth Tu Face Skin Stick (read our roundtable on all natural moisturizers here). Velvety, soft, moisturizing, transportable, protective hydration, herbal balm. Dare we say 'magic stick'?
SONG/VIDEO OF THE WEEK ~
So, yes this may be on our list of guilty pleasures. From the catchy-can't-get-out-of-your-head-hook to the shamelessly, cheesy video it's everything and more you could ever want from a Britney Spears song. Plus, who doesn't love a good comeback?
BOOK CLUB ~
Obviously, it's public knowledge that we are completely obsessed with greens, and this is one of our most prized possession books on the topic (and so much of the reason that we launched Sakara Life). We're re-reading right now, and are again learning and inspired by the healing power of daily leafy greens.
RECIPE YOU MUST MAKE THIS WEEKEND ~
"These are so lusciously creamy, sinfully rich-tasting — the kind of thing you put in your mouth and kind of can’t believe what’s happening. Vegan, almost raw, and full of whole food ingredients, they are also downright filling! They make a fabulous mid-morning or afternoon pick-me-up, especially with the raw cacao component, a deliciously effective, energy-boosting food. Dress them up with your favourite add-ins, or keep it simple and enjoy them as the five-ingredient bliss bars that they are."
GET BACK IN YOUR BODY ~
"Step One: Hydrate / Step Two: Roll & Bounce Your Hangover Away / Step Three: Nourish / Step Four: Rest"
YOUR FRIDAY NIGHT COCKTAIL CONVO STARTER ~
"From tantric sex to the pre-Tyra smize, Sting has always been ahead of trends. His Police-backed song “Every Breath You Take” may have masqueraded as a stalker’s love ballad but it also predicted the rise of targeted social media ads. It’s true. 'Every move you make, I’ll be watching you' might have fallen from the lips of our flexible, high cheek-boned musician, but make no mistake: the lyrics were meant to represent the future of advertising."
FRIYAY! GIF OF THE DAY! ~
Going into the weekend like Simone.
