Cherry Sesame Energy Digestion Balls next to Sakara Fiber Super Powder

Makes 24-29 balls

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • 2 scoop Sakara Fiber Super Powder
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder (if using extract or powder add with wet ingredients)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup dried cherries, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup white sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Directions

  1. In a food processor, blend the pumpkin seeds and oats until coarse, then pour into a mixing bowl and stir in ground flax, hemp hearts, Sakara Fiber Super Powder, vanilla powder, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  2. In the food processor add dates, dried cherries, and tahini and blend until well combined — chunky is okay but the pieces should be small.
  3. Add dry ingredients back to the food processor and blend until well combined. Add 1–2 tbsp of water if mixture isn't coming together.
  4. Pour back into the mixing bowl and knead together to make sure it's well combined — it might look like it's not going to stick together at first but it will. Scoop and roll into balls.
  5. In a small bowl combine black and white sesame seeds. Roll balls into sesame seeds and refrigerate 1–2 hours. Store in the fridge and consume within 5 days.
