Our founders Danielle DuBoise and Whitney Tingle were joined by Tinx, Forbes Top Creator of 2023 and āTikTokās big sister,ā to host a spicy dinner in celebration of Tinxās limited-edition Sakara salad.
āWith Sakara, you don't have to sacrifice taste for quality and nourishment,ā said Tinx. āIāve been such a Sakara fan for so long. This is truly full circle and a dream come true.ā
On our Signature Nutrition Program, Tinxās custom salad is accompanied by her favorite TABASCOĀ® Green JalapeƱo Sauce for a little heatāand we didnāt skimp on the sauce for our dinner party either, drizzling it into the featured Skinny Spicy Margarita and peppering it throughout the tablescape for guests to dollop at their discretion.
In true Sakara fashion, the space was decked out in blooming flower-and-fresh produce arrangements from floral pro Pearl Holmes, while dance-worthy beats by DJ Hesta Prynn set the vibe.Ā
After a cocktail hour where Avaline wine, martinis, and margaritas flowed, guests (including sisters Dylana Suarez and Natalie Lim Suarez, beauty and fashion expert Jenna Rennert, gallerist Hannah Traore, and style director Jordan Foster) gathered for an intimate seated dinner.
The three-course, plant-rich menu, crafted by our very own Sakara chefs, was a dream. To start: The Tinx Salad, starring a rainbow of veggies, a sweet-and-smoky nuts and seeds blend, and a classic, creamy dressing.Ā (Unless you're Tinx, who prefers hot sauce as the dressing.) Grilled cauliflower, acorn squash, and beet āsteaksā followed, paired with a chimichurri and a tangy horseradish āranch.ā And, to end on a sweet note, a New York-Style pumpkin ācheesecakeā was served, topped with coconut whip and spicy pepitas.Ā
Weāll be savoring this saucy, spicy, and downright delicious night (and custom salad collaboration) for weeks to come.
