By opting in to The Fresh Start Cleanse, you are opting in for one, four, or eight consecutive weeks of Sakara nutrition and wellness essentials. You cannot skip a week during the program.

The Fresh Start Cleanse is a targeted nutrition program with a set menu and daily regimen of wellness essentials specially curated to eliminate toxins and revitalize your body and mind; The Signature Nutrition program is a science-backed meal program created to support a range of benefits—from optimized digestion to glowing skin— which can be customized to best fit your schedule.

By opting in to The Fresh Start Cleanse, you are joining us for one, four, or eight weeks of Sakara nutrition; supplements and wellness essentials from Sakara (including our Signature Green Smoothie, Detox Protein Super Bar, Detox Water Drops, The Foundation supplement, and Magnesium Pack, along with weekly samples of our Detox Tea); and an exclusive program guide written with our in-house nutritionist to direct to support your transformation. (Please note, the plant-rich meals included in this program are from the same menu as our Signature program.)

When you opt in for a Signature Nutrition Program, you will have the option to do a one-time trial program or a recurring subscription program. You can choose the number of days you would like to receive meals (2, 3 or 5 days), and depending on your delivery zone, you may also choose which meals you would like to receive (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner).

If you join us for a System, you will receive two meal deliveries per week that you are on the program, and one delivery with your System wellness essentials and guide at the beginning of your program, in a separate delivery from your meals.

The Fresh Start Cleanse includes a specially curated menu of our plant-rich signature meals, in addition to expertly chosen Sakara wellness essentials, which together eliminate toxins and flood your system with vital nutrients. Each day is nutritionally designed for your optimal health, so while you cannot choose your own menu, we guarantee that your body will benefit from every dish and product. Please note, the meals in this program are the same meals included in our Signature program which you can view here: sakara.com/next-week-menu.

Sakara meal programs will be delivered during the time window specified at checkout. Depending on your location, you do not need to be home for delivery – please specify delivery instructions when purchasing each program.

We use third party shipping carriers for our meal deliveries, including UPS, and hand-delivery partners who will notify you of your delivery status. Deliveries that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses may be subject to additional charges for redelivery. When deliveries are delayed due to weather, we will do our best to alert you in advance, but some circumstances are beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee delivery windows. We are not liable for failed deliveries due to weather or incorrect/incomplete addresses.

Our delivery boxes are insulated and include ice packs to keep your food at safe temperatures throughout delivery. The ice packs may no longer be frozen upon delivery—this is ok! That means the ice packs are doing their job, and your food should still be cold. To ensure optimal freshness, we recommend storing meals in a refrigerator as soon after delivery as possible.

If you are not home when a delivery is made, our shipping carriers or delivery partners may leave your order at your doorstep or with your doorman, depending on your area. You may be able to provide additional delivery instructions (e.g., leaving the delivery at the back door). Please note that while our carriers will do their best to honor these special delivery instructions, we cannot guarantee that they’ll be accommodated and aren’t liable for any lost, stolen or damaged deliveries that result from these requests. It is your responsibility to be home during the delivery window if there isn’t someone available to accept it on your behalf.

Subscribers are able to modify their delivery address and/or delivery instructions by logging in to their Sakara subscription account. From here, click on “Profile” and scroll down to “Delivery Address.” Select Edit and update your address and/or notes accordingly. Any changes to your subscription must be made before midnight EST on Wednesday of the week prior.

The Fresh Start Cleanse is designed to enhance your health and optimize your biology with the power of food. As you begin your program, you are changing your gut environment, microbiome composition, metabolic rate, hormone signaling, and more. As these functions shift, side effects—including sugar cravings, bloat, or fluctuations in weight—are very normal. It’s important to tune into your body during your program, have patience and respect for this transition, and nourish accordingly to reduce side effects in the long term.
