Group Text: What's On Your Travel Wish List?

You guys, I can’t get Hawaii off my mind. Hawaii, India, and Egypt. And although I live in New York City - truly, a dream to experience living in this concrete organism - I still find myself day + night dreaming of days on black Maui beaches with a mango or three in hand, and nights along the colorful streets of Jodhpur, India. Better yet, a sunset picnic along the Nile (do people even do this? I want to.)

Don't get me wrong, I am super grateful to live where I do. I just have the heart of a wanderer and the attitude of an explorer. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to mean staying confined to our homes, safe and sound. Health is as much about adaptation and the brave immersion of ourselves into the big wide world (yeah, it takes bravery to travel) as it is about keeping nourished where we are.

Sakaralites get a natural high off of venturing into new territory (hello, Miami! Happy to finally be here!) So I’m wondering… If you could go anywhere, and do anything, with money and time and responsibilities being of no matter, where would that be? And why do you feel drawn to go there?

I think you know what my answer is. Your turn. What's on your travel wish list??

Paris and Bali are both definite must returns. They stole my heart and soul, respectively. But I am daydreaming of Prague, Tahiti, and New York ;)

Everywhere and anywhere. I LOVE traveling. I have had South America on my mind for quite some time. I am SO excited to say that I am heading to Peru in December to hike the Incan Trail with my dearest sister and father. Pumped for fresh air and nature everywhere. Heal me!

While venturing further afield is always in the back of my mind, there are so many cities right here in the U.S.A. that I’m dying to explore! Portland, OR and Nashville, TN are at the top of my list right now…I’ve got dear friends in both places that I hope to go visit sometime soon. It’s so fun to get out of the NYC bubble and check out the subcultures of other cities…particularly the music scene + the vintage shopping :)
