Group Text: What Are Your Summer Hair Secrets?
In Group Text, we ask you to share your tips and tricks in the comments below. We want to know everything.
After years committing to my natural brown curly locks, I decided it was time for a change and gradually went back to blonde for summer. By June, I had the perfect tone of rich caramel waves with sparkles of pure blonde peaking through. That was…until I went out East for a beach weekend.
After just a few hours of Spike Ball, tanning and coronas, my perfectly tailored hair was quickly turning white and dry.
Whether delicate, dyed, or just plain dry, our hair gets a double beating in the summer. Not only are we playing our usual games with straighteners, mousses, and dyes, we are also subjecting it to harsh UV rays (which basically act like bleach), the salty sea, and more than a few nights knotted up in someone’s hands.
With more than a month of strong summer sun left - we need your help.
