Recipe for Love! Raw Amla-Cacao Fudge
V-day is for cacao lovers! This summer, we schemed up this super sensual, antioxidant-adoring raw chocolate fudge recipe. And in radiant light of the most passionate day of the year, will you make it with us right now? Be our Valentine?
Raw Amla-Cacao Fudge:
Mix everything together until smooth (all the while listening to your favorite tunes, calling in intentions of having the most loving year yet!). Press into a 9x5" pan, lightly greased with coconut oil. Chill in the freezer for an hour or two (you don't want them to get unpleasantly hard to cut through). Slice into bite-sized cubes when frozen and chocolate topping is ready -- below.
For the Chocolate Topping:
3 TBSP coconut oil
3 tsp maple syrup
3 TBSP cacao powder
1/4 tsp himalayan salt
Heat everything together in a sauté pan and whisk until smooth (set another intention while you whisk -- what's your word this year? Be that). Pour over cut freezer fudge pieces and freeze again for ~an hour to solidify. Garnish with additional himalayan salt for electrolyte balancing, raspberries for radical antioxidants, and crushed hazelnuts for extra heart-health protection (how fitting...). Indulge.
