Stay Cool As A Cucumber This Cinco de Mayo

Feliz Cinco de Mayo! What better way to celebrate Mexico's 1862 win in battle against French forces than with chips, guac and margs that won't leave you as hungover the next day?! With hydrating cucumber and extra lime juices, this insane recipe will make you feel good (or, at least better) about the tequila that's going down with it.

  • 3 parts tequila to 1 part agave or cointreau
  • 1-2 organic cucumbers (depedning on size), peeled + cut into medium-sized chunks
  • juice of 5 limes (or to taste)
  • ice
  • pink himalayan salt

Fill a blender with ice. Add in the peeled cucumber chunks, tequila, lime juice, agave or cointreau, and blend until smooth. Pour pink salt onto a flat surface or saucer, and moisten the rims of 4 glasses with a lime wedge. Dip each glass into salt, and fill with your margarita mix! Garnish with a lime and cucumber slice, and enjoy!

*Remember that ingredients don't have to be exact and its easy to customize the flavor profile you're going for. There is no wrong way to make the right margarita! Have fun!
